New Women's Therapy Group at SunServe!
Dear Women of South Florida, Have you ever felt you would like someone to talk with but you don’t like the idea of individual therapy.
We have the perfect answer for you. Please come to our Women’s Therapy Group at SunServe. It will most likely be offered on Saturday and the time of the group has not been decided yet.
We need at least 8 women interested in the group in order to start it, so sign up quickly. Two of our Registered Interns will be facilitating the group…Sasha and Deepa.
Now keep in mind this is a Therapy group and not a support group. This means the therapists may ask you some difficult questions to dig into your feelings a little.
So if you are struggling with life issues, relationships, feeling lonely or like you just don’t belong. Give us a call.
David Michaud, our Clinical Director will be scheduling intakes for all of you who are interested.
He can be reached by calling 954-764-5150 x 103 or through email at Dmichaud@sunserve.org.
Either way of contacting David is fine. Hope to hear from you soon.
Men's Therapy Group at SunServe!
We are offering a second Men’s therapy Group however it will be offered for those who are available during the day. It will take place at SunServe in Wilton Manors on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. We are once again seeking at least 8 men who want to participate. Again, keep in mind this is not a support group, it is a Therapy Group. We are currently unsure of who will be the lead therapist of the group however it should be an exciting time for you to meet other men in the area, work on your issues and learn you are not the only person feeling lonely, depressed, useless and even anxious at times. We will ask for a donation of $8 from each participant; clients are NEVER turned away for inability to pay.
If you have Medicare and/or Medicaid and want to utilize those benefits, we are able to make that happen. You will need to go through an intake unless you are a current client of SunServe. If you need to go through an intake call 954-764-5150 ask for Intake and tell the Intake counselor you want to schedule an intake for the Men’s Afternoon Therapy Group.
If you are a current client of SunServe contact David Michaud, LCSW, Director of Clinical Services at 954-764-5150 x 103 and he will take your information to register. This will be a great group especially if you are retired, on disability or unemployed; we hope this will add to the productivity of your week in a positive way!
Mental Health Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund will be used to

the community who cannot afford to access

status or ability to pay.
We are currently hoping to acquire a logo
for the scholarship fund. If you have a
skill for graphic design please submit your
design for the James Lopresti Mental Health
Scholarship Fund to David Michaud at
firstname.lastname@example.org and have a chance
at being selected! The winner will have $50
