Prior to founding International Counsel PLLC, Mr. Farmer worked as of counsel in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida office of a national law firm. He also served a term as a Special Prosecutor in the Palm Beach County State Attorney's office.
Prior to moving to Florida, Mr. Farmer lived in Washington, D.C. for thirteen years where he worked for several years as a litigation attorney at the global law firm of Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Mr. Farmer also served at the U.S. Department of State as a law clerk to the Assistant Legal Adviser for Private International Law.
Mr. Farmer attended law school at American Universtiy in Washington, D.C. and also attended the Universtié de Paris X-Nanterre school of law in Paris, France.
Mr. Farmer received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He also attended the Université de Paris - Sorbonne while in undergraduate school, studying French language and literature in Paris, France.
