Paying For Services Fees for counseling and psychotherapy services at the Central Facility are determined on a sliding scale. We do not turn anyone away, and our sliding scale accommodates a wide income range including persons with no income at all. Clients who are in need of services that we cannot provide will receive our assistance in accessing those services in the community. Clients who have insurance benefits, Medicare or Medicaid coverage, or the means to pay full, or nearly full, fees customarily charged for therapy, will most often be referred to the therapists in our collective. In those instances, fees are determined by the therapist and the client.

Individual, couples, or group therapy: Fees are determined based on the client's income as reported on their federal tax forms. Potential clients are requested to bring a copy of their previous year's IRS 1040 to their intake session so that the fee can be determined at that time in consultation with the therapist.

Support groups: There are no fixed fees for most support groups. We do encourage group members to give donations for their participation in these groups. These donations help pay for therapy provided to clients without income. A fee is sometimes charged for groups that have a fixed agenda and psycho-educational format. We call these "counseling groups." No one is turned away because of inability to pay that fee.

Peer counseling services: There are no fixed fees for using the peer counseling services. We do encourage peer counseling clients to give donations for these services. These donations help pay for therapy provided to clients without income. There may be small fees for certain classes in the peer counselor training program.
